Meet The Team
There’s always something new to learn about making maple syrup. We are constantly learning and improving our craft.
We want to share the techniques we learned to help you create your perfect batch of maple syrup, whether it’s a single quart or thousands of gallons.
Hi, I’m Jon
Full-time master SUGARMAKER, ENTREPRENEUR
I started out with 10 taps and a turkey fryer and now own a 22,000 tree maple farm in northern VT. Along my journey, I have learned and grown tremendously, going from a few buckets, to a few lines, to multiple wet and dry systems run with remote monitoring. I’ve grown from a small wood-fired arch to an RO with one of the biggest oil-fired arches on the market. All the while I have strived to learn and excel in all areas of maple syrup productivity.
No matter what stage of syrup production you are at, I can help you make better syrup more efficiently.
Hi, I’m David
HOBBY SUGARMAKER, ENTREPRENEUR
I am a hobby sugarmaker in northwest NJ working hard to expand my knowledge and improve my craft. For full-time work, I (along with the great team at bizbudding.com) help entrepreneurs build businesses online.
Making maple syrup is so much fun. Start with one tap, then three, then ten, and soon you’ll be looking for 50 sugar maples to tap.
